Doug has taught with GOLFTEC since 2002 and has given over 30,000 lessons. Before starting at GOLFTEC, Doug played collegiate golf at Mary Hardin-Baylor. In 2014 and 2018 he was recognized by the Southern Texas PGA with the Player Development Award.
From 2016-2019 he was named to the Golf Digest's Top Young Instructors List. In 2020 he was named to the Golf Digest Best In State list (TX). Finally, Doug has achieved his PGA Certification in Teaching and Coaching.
