The Towel Drill for backswing arm position

00:00:00 - [Music] all right guys we're out here practicing today and we're going to talk about a couple of the reasons why players hit a slice now I'm sure it comes as no surprise to you that majority of the players we see here at Golf Tech come in because they're just struggling hitting a slice and they really get sick of it there's a number of reasons why this could happen but one of the common reasons we see is as players make a back swing they move their hands back too

00:00:25 - swing this is really setting the golfer up to almost always hit a slice and there's a couple ways you can work on this really just using the things that you're already going to have in your bag either using a head cover or even your towel you can use these to help prevent you from lifting your arms and help swinging more into out and ultimately hit that draw taking just a towel or just roll it up and place it across your chest and under your arms make some nice

00:00:50 - slow swings getting an idea of what it feels like to keep your arms lower on your chest after you feel pretty comfortable you can actually hit shots like this going nice and slow until you get a feel for it as you get better and better I would continue just adding more and more speed until ultimately you see that draw pattern you want if this is a problem you have just keep practicing with the towel soon enough those slices are going to go away swing better play better golf Tac
