Born and raised in Houston he grew up around the game thanks to his Granddad (Ben Smith who played on the Senior tour for over 20 yrs) and his father who caddied on tour for golf greats Gay Brewer and Miller Barber as well as his grandfather. Has played competitive golf from age 8 and continues to do so. Enjoys working with students of all ages and skill levels from the beginner just starting out to the scratch golfer looking to play in competitive golf.
