Matt is originally from Hertfordshire, England, UK and moved to the states in late 2011 for junior college to play collegiate golf out in Arizona where he attended Scottsdale CC for 3 years and pursue more with my career in Golf. In Jan 2016 he transferred and attended Cal U of PA, near Pittsburgh, PA in the PGM program for 2 years wrapping up his Bachelors Programme. Wasn’t eligible to play on the NCAA team anymore due to using all his collegiate eligibility, but he competed some collegiate events while there with some low individual finishes for the PGM team. Also, passed his PAT first time with rounds of 73, 68 and a career round of 64 PB at Cedarbrook CC as well. Matt has been in the industry for 9 years and teaching for almost a decade as a Golf Professional and I have worked with all different kinds of golfers. Also, in my time I have shadowed some top teachers/past players during my time of living in the US. During my time as a Golf Professional at Pine Needles/Mid Pines in Southern Pines, I got to work alongside some top teachers including David Orr, Donna Andrew’s, Pat McGowan and Sally Austin during the golf schools. In October 2023 I joined golftec to become a certified coach to expand the knowledge I have in the swing and become certified as a teacher. October this year is my 2 year anniversary for GOLFTEC and recently just completed my PGA this august and now a Class A PGA Professional. I enjoy giving lessons to all levels of people and helping people play better golf!
