Whether you have never held a club or struggle to make consistent contact, your GOLFTEC Coach helps you understand your swing and build the fundamentals. Start with a Game Evaluation, then follow a lesson plan built around your experience and goals.
What this service helps you do
Beginner lessons support golfers who are brand new, struggle with contact, or want clearer practice direction. These are coaching goals that develop over time, not a promise that every topic is covered in one appointment.
Work on grip, setup, and how the club meets the ball.
Learn what contributes to common misses and ball flight.
Leave lessons with focused priorities and drills.
Develop skills and understanding you can apply when playing.
60 minutes
Your first appointment establishes a useful starting point without expecting you to understand swing mechanics.
Talk through what you have tried, where you play, and what you want to feel more comfortable doing.
Hit shots while your Coach observes your movement and ball flight with you.
Review the most useful findings and discuss recommended next steps.
You do not need to know what is wrong with your swing before you arrive.
After the first appointment
The Game Evaluation is your first appointment. Ongoing lessons then help you learn, practice, and review priorities at a pace that fits your goals.
See movement clearly with video and OPTIMOTION™, then work on a manageable change.
Use focused drills and launch data to connect a swing change with the resulting shot.
Revisit lesson information in the GOLFTEC App and update priorities with your Coach.
Practice access, app content, and other inclusions depend on the lesson plan selected.

Club fitting is essential for maximizing distance, accuracy, and consistency in your golf game. Properly fitted clubs are tailored to your swing speed, ball flight, and playing style, ensuring you get the best performance from every shot.
A custom-fit driver, irons, or wedges optimize launch, spin, and ball speed, helping you hit longer and straighter shots with more consistency.
Clubs that match your height, stance, and swing mechanics allow for better contact and fewer mishits, leading to greater control and confidence.
Every club should work together for a balanced set that provides gaps in distance, so you’re never guessing which club to hit.
The right shaft flex, weight, and material can impact ball flight, while proper grip size improves control and comfort.
Playing with improperly fitted clubs can cause inconsistencies, unnecessary swing adjustments, and even discomfort over time. A proper fitting ensures clubs complement your natural swing for sustainable improvement.
GOLFTEC’s custom club fittings use advanced launch monitors, shaft optimization, and the Shaft Wall to match you with the best equipment from top brands like Callaway, TaylorMade, PING, and more.

I’ve watched many videos online about ways to improve my swing, and trust me, I know there are a lot of great resources out there, but the key difference between trying to figure it out yourself VS investing in yourself is simply the results. Believe me, it’s worth it. The swing evaluation is hands down the most helpful thing I have received when it comes to truly understanding what is happening during my swing. Shoutout to Nick Pelle for being a great instructor!
