00:00:15 - This year we are featuring the top four most forgiving drivers of 2025, starting with Ping's new G440 Max.

00:01:08 - The G440 Max has an MOI of around 5500, which is considered high, and the shape of the club is more compact than previous models.

00:02:02 - The adjustable weight on the G440 allows you to move the CG for a draw or fade, and the carbon fly app technology offers weight savings for better performance.

00:02:52 - The new Elite X from Callaway features an adjustable weight with CG movement and comes in at a similar MOI to the Ping G440, with a matte black crown that aids in alignment.

00:03:51 - The new model has a longer back end, deeper CG, and improved face and crown engineering, offering a good balance of distance and forgiveness.

00:04:49 - The Cobra Dark Speed Adapt and Max K drivers have one of the highest Moi measurements ever at 5800, offering a forgiving option with a louder acoustic compared to the G44 tip.

00:05:50 - The Callaway driver has a stylish design with a pulled-back triangular shape and a crown, featuring a sweet spot and center of gravity placed in the middle of the face, making it both visually appealing and high-performing.

00:06:33 - The new addition this year is the future fit 33 system in the adapter, which offers 33 adjustable settings and comes with a small QR code for easy usage.

00:07:22 - Fitting a music section at home is not difficult if you try it yourself.

00:07:34 - The speaker is discussing different drivers and comparing their forgiveness levels based on their Moi measurements.

00:08:27 - The TaylorMade driver has a high MOI due to weight distribution in the back and a very neutral CG for versatility, with a larger head compared to smaller models.

00:09:22 - The golf club has a round shape with a cool top design and a sleek gunmetal look, but the swing was not the best and it didn't quite clear the water.

00:10:13 - The new driver has a more metallic sound compared to previous models and hits the ball differently.

00:11:11 - Expect many of these drivers to prioritize high Moment of Inertia, feeling improvements in the club face technology but still offering forgiveness with familiar features.

00:12:03 - It is important to get a fitting for golf clubs due to variations in spin, and the best place to do so is at Golf Tech.

00:00:00 - give me thoughts look feel uh actually those two I hit him different spots in the face and they both felt really good yeah and that's really what we're going to find out of your high Moi drivers is the Miss hits are going to be that much

00:00:15 - better all right guys this year we're bringing you the top four most forgiving drivers of 2025 we have a pretty cool selection here today Nick a really covering some different bu fls but the key and the theme of all these is going to be highy drivers historically a problem we've run into with high Moi drivers is they tend to be higher spinning uh but in recent years they've tended to rectify that through some different designs and we'll talk about some of these as we go through but

00:00:41 - really what I want to hear from you is as you hit them just what looks good what feels good and really what you think about them uh but the first one we will start with is going to be always a good one uh Ping's new g440 Max so put that one down tell me what you think I'll tell you some of the features as we go through yeah it's uh looks a little bit actually smaller of aead than previous models yeah I will say the profile of really the entire 440 line uh does look a little bit different than

00:01:08 - the 430 and really all the the previous models I would agree many of them especially in the LST so not the one we're holding but the the shape is definitely a little bit more compact which I think again a lot of golfers are going to like that so let's get a few swings in with each though and you we can talk a little bit more about them while nickit so we've got the uh the g440 max coming in it's got about 50 4 5500 uh Moi so really anything you're getting above 5,000 is is pretty high

00:01:37 - and I guess as Nick continues to hit here I will'll stress this isn't a fitting we've got all these set up at around 9 9 and 1 12 deg uh but we're really just trying to do as close to a Apples to Apples comparison as we can so uh they're probably going to be maybe slightly higher Loft than than Nick actually needs but now you got two swings in there Nick here we go so we got one little fade one little draw i' be actually curious on those just to see the spin differences cuz first one's

00:02:02 - definitely you know a little bit higher than than you'd want yeah I got the other one a little more off the heel than that one so um yeah F 3200 with again uh probably not quite the exact setup you would need if we were going through a fitting uh but the cool thing about again with the g440 we do have an adjustable weight uh in the max so there is the ability to move the CG a little bit more into the toe if you really want to fight a draw or a little bit into the

00:02:27 - heel if you do need to fight that fade and then they've now introduced the what they call their carbon fly app technology through the entire line it's basically a composite Crown composite so and that's just weight savings that they can then utilize to put somewhere else so give me thoughts look feel uh actually those two I hit him different spots on the face and they both felt really good yeah and that's really what we're going to find out of your high Moi drivers is the m hits are going to be

00:02:52 - that much better uh so let's now move on to our next and that is going to be the new Elite X from Callaway so this one does feature and adjustable weight as well this one goes from either the neutral setting in the back so 13 G weight or into the draw setting in the heel and again you get some CG movement to go along with that this one comes in at about 5500 uh Moi so very similar uh to the Ping g440 that we just saw so initial thoughts when you put it down there nick uh just that crown on top

00:03:23 - it's a little different shade of the the black m than they haven't had in the past more matte this compared to a little more of the gloss finish do you what's your personal preference on that um I like it uh I mean never want to have the sun in my eyes so uh kind of like how the fact that it gives me a little bit of difference between exactly where the the face would be and the crown so I can kind of use that as a alignment more an Aiming a aiming alignment tool gotcha all right go and

00:03:51 - make a swing on that one looks pretty good definitely a little little longer on the back end than maybe some of the previous models yeah and that's definitely going to be a feature you see out of many uh the high mois one way they get the CG deeper in the club is by just extending the rear skirt farther and farther back that just moves the CG farther back which in turn helps to increase the Moi so again 3500 RPM Back Spin on that one where' you hit that on the face uh a

00:04:18 - little high on the face actually little high okay yeah a little high a little toe yep still felt pretty good though so they do uh have done a little bit re-engineering of the face as well as the crown uh since their new AI I 10x face um and then their new therof Forge crown with carbon fiber again just more about weight savings aerodynamics trying to get this balance of distance and forgiveness especially whenever you get into the high Moi product nice one there if we can avoid

00:04:46 - the tree oh look that nicely done see that was off the toe as well okay uh I felt that one so a little bit more little more feel on that but still felt really good and I would just say skin next to hitting these just the Acoustics of the elite is definitely a little bit louder than the g44 tip not right or wrong just personal preference on what the golfer likes all right let's move on to the next we got two Heavy Hitters now uh they're going to come in they're basically like 1A and 1B when it

00:05:16 - comes to the most forgiving drivers uh we're going to see this year uh we're going to start off with Cobra's new dark speed adapt in their maxk okay so let's talk about the Moi first coming in at 5800 it's pretty much tying the highest Moi drivers we've ever measured we had two last year in the qi1 and the g44 excuse me g430 Max 10K came in around a very similar number Cobra joining the bunch this year uh with the dark speed adapt in the Max K initial thoughts uh I

00:05:47 - like the look of it it similar Top Line kind of to the the Callaway there maybe a little bit more pulled back in a triangular shape with the with a crown but overall uh really nice looking club for sure yeah I mean cover's made awesome drivers uh really for a number of generations now they do a really nice job of putting The Sweet Spot in the CG right in the middle of the face we measure all these drivers we've been doing it for a while now and um they're not always in the middle in fact it's

00:06:15 - pretty uncommon to find them there Cobra they're almost always there in the the dark Speed Line except for the draw model obviously uh they're all right in the middle I like that mat finish on top as well so they look cool in the bag and uh they perform great as well let's get us with that

00:06:33 - one sounded pretty solid also coming out maybe a little lower than the less last few where'd you hit that one in the face uh a little low and on the heel so so again be curious it's definitely a spot that tends to spin a little more but still getting out there to 300 yeah and again just over 3,000 which is again we'd expect all these to be a little higher spin than you might want to play if you're on the course uh now they did introduce a few new things this year and

00:06:55 - the biggest one is going to be their future fit 33 system in the adapter um so basically the future fit 33 you have 33 adjustable settings in the adapter I know it sounds like a lot but the cool thing is there is a tiny little QR code right here on the heel if you scan that it basically tells you how to use it you look at a chart you say I want my ball to go here and you pick the adapter setting that matches that and you pretty much leave it there now the correct way is to go through a proper

00:07:22 - fitting but if you were just trying to do it yourself at home it's not really that hard let's get another one all right [Music]

00:07:34 - [Music] I like how you're throwing a little mix of Fades and draws in there hey you know we're trying trying to get a good look at all totally intentional I'm sure 100% nice and now see that one yeah just hanging out just below 3,000 so honestly again if that was again what you went out there on the course and played is it ideal no is it totally going to work for sure final thoughts on that one before we move into the uh the most forgiving driver good feel to it uh uh definitely

00:08:01 - could feel it on the face where I hit it but still really good feel the sound was a little bit more muted as well than the elite so definitely would agree like the feel of it look of it we'll toss that one over and then we've got our most forgiving driver and again we're using Moi as a measurement of forgiveness there's obviously a number of factors that goes in there uh but Qi 35 is going to be the highest Moi driver we've measured this year and it's coming in at

00:08:23 - 5850 so just barely ahead of the dark speed adapt that's the qi3 5 Max so it's got a massive weight in the back the more weight you move back that's how they're increasing thei and like in years past we've got the composite face Infinity composite Crown composite Soul lots of composite uh basically just allows them to put all that weight in the back and that's one way how they make thei as high as they do what I'm most impressed though with Taylor Made this year is they did a great job of

00:08:54 - also making the CGS very neutral across the entire line uh we have an always seen that again from many of our manufacturers every single one we've measured in the QI 35 be it the ls be it the max or just the standard model they're all right in the middle so you can pretty much do whatever you want with this driver it's just a matter of how much forgiveness do you want or how low do you want your spin to be yep no looks good uh kind of the typical tailor made look uh definitely a little bigger

00:09:21 - head than some of the smaller models that I've used in the past but still nice round shape to it I like the the setup doesn't look like it's setting up closed at all which I've always liked about the tailor maids and really cool really cool top design right there I really like that I do like how they changed up the colors this year it's more of a I'm going to call it gunmetal almost look to it so it's steel or whatever yeah it's definitely got a bit of a Sleek design uh you know comparable

00:09:45 - to the dark speed in the sense where it's you fairly blacked out across the line so again looking cool the bag is uh it's important to me that's a big piece let's get if few Swings with that guy oh that was not the best swing that's all right that's let's see can we clear the water nope no chance oh maybe we'll get a skip all right it's all right we'll still get numbers on it where is that on the face that was pretty low on the face right there pretty low but still managed yeah

00:10:11 - 3° launch it's not going to quite do it no well you know practicing for those Stingers I guess that's why we're hitting the most forgiving drivers exactly that one sounded a little different so I will say on that one uh that was way off the tail now a little bit more off the tail so I'll say on that one though compared to some of the composite models of yester year um it definitely sounded a little bit more metallic I know I've I've hit a number of balls with the QI 35 you're probably

00:10:38 - the first person I've actually stood next to and uh heard you know heard somebody hit it and it definitely sounds much more metallic uh compared to Prior Generations or you know even compared to some of the titanium drivers I'm going to hit one good one hopefully man coming out much lower all right I'm take a look at some numbers in this one that's how you make this hole little shorter right there take off just as much as you can take off as much as you can and yeah coming

00:11:09 - in just over 33500 again it's where I'd expect a lot of these drivers to be uh for high Moi so again putting numbers aside cuz obviously this is not a fitting uh just from Aesthetics uh personal preference any of those for you uh yeah one of them definitely uh this guy actually feels a lot better than I think in past years yeah I I definitely feel like it has a little bit more substance to the face I can feel where it's where it is but I also like that last one I did hit pretty Center felt

00:11:38 - really good coming off the face so yeah and they've re-engineered improved again whatever you want to call it uh their carbon phas through the number of generations they've done so far so I think it's gotten better every time they've done it uh and you'll see again like I said some of the familiar technology still with the power bridge in the bottom uh EXC me the through speed slot uh just allowing for that bottom face to flex a little bit as as well too so honestly if you need some

00:12:01 - forgiveness you really can't go wrong with any of these clubs but uh as you're seeing it's important to still make sure you do go through a fitting because they're all going to spin slightly different uh so you might need a 10 in one nine in the other best place to get that done though as at your local Golf Tech so log on to golf tech.com find a local Golf Tech near you
